Tweetdeck keeps my social networking life organized and all in one easy to find place, which is why I love it. I wish I had something more constructive to say, but if you're a social networking junkie like I am, this is a great way to keep tabs on facebook and twitter at the same time.
I use this app every day and I love it. What's really special about it is the level of detail in the maps. I use it not only as a navigation tool, but as a restaurant finder, trip planner, and general Grand Poobah of all things logistical. I've had few to no problems with it.
This app is helpful in the area of the french language I feel the least capable with: pronunciation. The phonetic guides in the back of guidebooks just don't do it for me-I learn by ear. So babel fish's app is great because not only does it translate from english to french, it pronounces it for you as well. It also has a standard text translator for those times you don't want your phone droning on at you in french
1010ti.me is a wolf under a sheep skin!
Although it looks like the typical full screen/live wallpaper/widget clock application it's actually an analogue clock editor... and the level of customization is amazing.
You can use the stocked clocks or download new ones to use as a live wallpaper or a widget but as soon as you get tired with those, just open up the editor and change them as you like.
You can add battery meter, GSM and Wifi signal, available memory, change timezone, you name it. You can also attach bitmaps to hands or faces so your clock will almost look as a real mechanical one!
I love shazam because not only does it introduce me to new bands and albums, it ends those annoying "I think that's Duran Duran playing" "No! It's Tears for Fears!" "No! It's Billy Idol" arguments in 30 seconds or less. It's a little frustrating when you're in places with huge amounts of ambient noise, but hey-nothing's perfect.
