Insulting to say the least

I support the team at KittehFace, they have brought many quality live wallpapers to the Market...but not this time around. While the idea behind this live wallpaper is one I am all for, pick your countries flag and watch it proudly flap in the wind, as a Canadian I am insulted to see my flag done wrong. Completely WRONG! Even the US flag is backwards on screen. While it does have a great amount of settings to it, those settings mean nothing when your flag is incorrectly displayed.

I sent an e-mail to the Dev on this one and they said they had no intent on changing the flags. That's fine, I have no intent on spending a dollar on this until it is fixed.

Boomshine redone, poorly

Here we have the first game that actually uses the Boomshine engine and adds a small element to it.

I`ll keep this one short. The developers at Forester continually upload this game so that it will appear in the 'Just In' part of the Games section in the Market. Don't believe me, look up DoodleChain 2 on this site. You will find over 30 copies of it.

Why? Because they do not like the vast amount of negative comments about their applications and it appears fresh on the list when they remove it and upload it again.

Terrible game and not worth your time. Touch the screen and watch a doodle explode, that shoots dots in 4 directions, and if those dots hit other doodles then they explore and shoot 4 more dots out...causing the chain reaction. Another insult to your intelligence and a waste of space on your phone. The app, like all of Foresters apps, continually force closes.

Forester strikes again

This game is identical to Boomshine. The developers at Forester continually upload this game so that it will appear in the 'Just In' part of the Games section in the Market. Don't believe me, look up Dottouch on this site. You will find over 30 copies of it.

Why? Because they do not like the vast amount of negative comments about their applications and it appears fresh on the list when they remove it and upload it again.

At first glance you may wonder what this app is all about. After reading the description you kind of still wonder what the purpose of this app is all about. After downloading this app, you cancel and refund when you realize you don't need it all.

The app has a couple of features so let's review:

1) Notifies of missed calls and text messages by reporting the name of the caller and the number of missed calls by email or by text.

My phone gives me quite a handy thing called a notification bar which tells me how many missed calls I have, new voicemails, programs running and a whole slew of other things. Why do I need a text message or e-mail to tell me this?

2) There is a configurable "I'm away reply".

If I am away from my phone, then I am away from my phone. I do not need my phone to tell people that I am away. Leave a voicemail.

3) Has a "get phone location" feature.

While this may be the handiest part of this app, hence the two bars that I rated this previously, the app "Where's my Droid" does this for free.

4) Remote contact picking.

The handy team at Google has allowed me to save and back up all of my contacts through them. Even if I lost my phone, worst case scenario, when I turn on my new phone there they are. When I login online, there they are.

The app is 0.99 cents. I just don't see the purpose of spending money on an application of this sort when my phone does most of the work already and there are free apps to compensate for the other find your phone location feature. Not recommended.

Developer comments pushed this rating down to 1 bar, as there is no proper customer service. Just some young punk who is mouthy and does not like a negative review of their app.

PS @ fedepaol. My review is honest and not superficial. You as the developer rating this app 5 stars is extremely superficial. "My app is the best so 5 stars". Your review made me try the app out and I'm glad I did. Because you as a Dev just proved my point, more junk on the Market should be exposed so as to avoid it. As you so seflishly wrote yourself: "I developed this to fulfill my own need."

Samsung Captivate

I just get 1-second echoes or hiss on my Captivate. I tried many different record/playback settings and no go. Might work on other phones, though.

Crashes despite reinstalls

I downloaded Jesus hates Zombies mostly on a whim, given there's no way that subject matter could have turned out well - maybe robot comics knew that because this app crashes upon launch. This is the same app framework that houses all there other comics which load fine on my EVO 4G. I don't know why this one fails, but reinstalls don't fix the issue.

Whats the use of this app if you can't watch any netflix movies?
Don't even waste your time with this app. Netflix will just have to come up with their "official" app that will allow us to watch movies on our android device.

This is a very outdated app that wasn't even very good when it first launched. Now it's so behind on the new tumblr features that it will probably never catch up. Not worth it.

Not only is this app poorly designed, I also found it to be a huge battery drain. There are a hundred other apps I'd rather use my battery for than this heap of an app.
