I have been looking for a good app for tablet backgrounds. Even though this app says "HD" which would lead you to believe they have some good high quality large backgrounds, this app is not for tablets.
I downloaded it onto my HTC EVO as well and gave it a whirl and it force closed almost every time it was opened and had some serious lag issues while scrolling.
When I first downloaded this app I was looking for a way to turn my HTC EVO into a garage door opener. Home automation is fascinating to me and this applications info page read as if I didn't need anything else to make this work.
However what you find out when you Google for help is that you need to purchase hardware from this company to make this work.
Devs please put more descriptive information up about your app!
I recently picked up the Epic Touch 4g and I hate the stock lockscreen. I went looking for a lockscreen app that could give me a simple lockscreen with a few pieces of info on it that just worked.
This app had all the options that I wanted to be able to have but doesn't work on my phone. I have problems with both lockscreens (stock and Agile) showing up on my phone and it's almost impossible to answer an incoming call. Unlock the stock lockscreen, unlock the agile lockscreen, slide the answer call button, tap the second answer call button and then it fails to pick up the call.
I've uninstalled it until the dev can figure out how to truly disable the stock lockscreen like it's supposed to.
After using this app I'm going to pick up the book instead.
It's got some useful information but the formatting makes using it pretty hard. No word wrap and the pictures seem a bit skewed.
I uninstalled this app due to size and being unable to move to SD card.
I really want to love this app but I can't.
Installed and went to open and had nothing but force close issues. Every so often when I could get this app open and I did simple searches for things that I already knew the answers to (lower back pain, sore throat, etc) I would get some random answer.
If you do a search on webmd.com you would get an answer completely different than the one through the app. Can't say that's too reliable, so I'll opt for another app for my medial / first aid needs.
Block Push Multiplayer is supposed to be a competitive game in which the players have to push blocks from the stack to their opponents side. In order to shoot the block over you have to hold the power button to charge your cannon, on release the cannon will shoot. The game isn't as entertaining as people may make it out to be. That's all I can say.
I use My Coffee Card almost daily so I figured I would give the Official Starbucks app a whirl also. Right off the bat I had problems: Can’t login – bad username and password. I tried 4 times and I know it’s the right username / password combo because I can login to the website just fine. Once I closed and reopened the app the username and password worked, but I received another error “An unexpected error has occurred please try again later.” A little while later I tried again and wasn’t prompted for username and password and was taken to an enter card number and code page.
So while this app looks like it’s in severe need of dev love and some QA testing past that I wonder why this app doesn’t have the features that the iPhone version has like customizing your drink and having it all ready for your barista?
Another thing to note: You cannot use the app in the drive-thru but nothing on this “official app” says that. Starbucks if you’re listening.. you really should add this warning so that you don’t make life hell on your customers and employees.
I have used this app on 3 different occasions and it gave me bad info all 3 times. Not sure why others have given it such high marks. I will try it a few more times (It came pre-installed on my phone) and then I will see if I need to find out how to un-install it or not.
I’m always looking for amazing background for my HTC EVO and my Galaxy Tab 10.1. I stumbled on this app and really have to say that there are much better apps out there for this.
This app has a very limited range of categories, has some force close issues and doesn’t support tablets. The features it does have – sharing, cropping, etc – are all available in other apps out there.
Ultimately I think the dev should expand its device pool and look at adding more than just pictures of ladies (cause really some of us do like other things as wallpapers).
I really love zombie games but this one is a bit lame for my tastes. It’s akin to an old Nintendo scroller game with very limited controls. You basically have jump and fire and you can’t move around the screen to kill all of the zombies only the ones that cross your path.
This game also had some weird artifact issues (images that blur across the whole screen) on my Galaxy Tab 10.1
Ultimately I wouldn’t recommend this game unless you’re a huge fan of old school scroller games.
I love Portal 2 and thought that I would love this live wallpaper. In concept it's awesome - Wheatley follows you around and bobs in and out of the screen while you have a static image of the portal test room exit door.
Unfortunately on my HTC EVO it force closes more often than running. On my Galaxy Tab 10.1 it locks the system up completely and I have to reboot to get things to play nice. Once I've rebooted I get the static image but no Wheatley.
Hopefully the dev will improve this live wallpaper so that it can be enjoyed.
