Buggy at best.
My search for a solid Android media streaming app continues..
This app claims to be able to stream media (video, music and pictures) over a wireless connection to your phone, as well as via internet to any device.
What's not immediately obvious when you check out this app is that you have to have a piece of software installed on the computer that you want to stream FROM. I hate installing extra programs on my home server but gave it a whirl anyway.
This app was able to browse the folders from my home server just fine, but when it came to playing any video files it failed. I tried all of my different media types and they all failed. When I tried to browse my music it would list all the music files, but again wouldn't play any of them.
This app also doesn't exit on it's own, you'll have to go into programs and force close it. This means that you'll likely see a huge battery drain because it will always be running. I've uninstalled it and will continue my search for a good media streaming app.
