Not especially graphically pleasing, but plays well on low end devices.

Once again, pretty good calculators here for landscapers and just general hobbyists, but like the Construction Calculator app, it could do with metric entries for our friends in Europe and beyond.
OK, maybe not for true professionals, there's still some useful tools here like a protractor, spirit level, etc. which could be good for a home improvement buff.
If you're doing a home improvement project, it's neat to have the swatches right there on the phone before you drag yourself off to the store.
I hope they keep updating this app as there's still room for improvement. The voice search feature is cool, perhaps not as good as Android/Google's though. Still, nice to have an alternative.
So happy to see this as an Android app, and it's free too, compared to the pay-for iPhone version. If you love great alternative music, the daily music show "Morning Becomes Eclectic" is fantastic.
Price: free
Pros: For a mobile photo editor, it offers several tools to edit your photos. You will be surprised you can do so much on a phone. It is a must have app.
Cons: none
Price: free
Pros: will do basic blocking by either pick up/hang up or send caller to voicemail. Will block text as well. White/black list have several preconfigured options. For a basic blocker, this isn't bad for free.
Cons: no auto responded for text. For a blocker I personally would like more options to customize how this app works.
Price: free
Pros: Auto checks to see if WiFi is available. If it is and your WiFi is off then it turns it on, potentially saving you MB's on your data plan. If it doesn't detect WiFi and your WiFi is on it will shut it off, potentially saving your battery life. There are several settings to set this app to set for how often it should check and when.
Cons: none
I thought this was going to be great, but it gets boring after a few goes. It entertained my kids for a short while, but even they are bored with it now.
I am up to level 587, and still going. It's a great app for anyone that has a moment of two to fill in and doesn't want to get stuck into anything too heavy.
Great fun, and the advanced levels can be really challenging.
Price: free
Pros: you will be surprised at how many apps start up when your phone starts. This app will let you take control of this. Not all the apps have to run at start-up. You may even save some battery life depending on what apps are running.
Cons: None
I could only get this app to run long enough to get an idea of what the programmer was intending. I think there is potentential in the interface, but much work to be done on stability. Visual Task Scheduler is a better option at this time. "This Time" being November 2010.
I think this should be a beta. The physics are quite good and game play is good as well, for what it is. Now, skin everything with nice flashy graphics, and you may have something you can charge a buck or two for.
Love it. I tested this against my Magellen GPS stand alone unit, and my Phone GPS called MotoNav made by Motorolla. The beta of this software gave better directions than either of the other options. Add to that the choice of the overlays you want, and street view coming up close to a destination so you actually have a visual reference to where your going, AND ITS FREE WITH NO COST TO UPDATE MAPS, this is great and will only get better.
This app gives the ability to go from app to app in few clicks by showing you thumbnails of up to 9 apps on the screen when you push the Home button. I notice there are some requests for extra functionality by users, but I give a 5 because it does what it says, it looks decent doing it, and I've had zero issues with the program. I don't notice any hit to the battery. What good is multi-tasking phone if you can't change quickly between the apps.
Price: free trial for 7 days/ $1. 99
Pros: password protect your individual apps while your phone is unlocked. I have a rooted phone and I don't need someone running my root apps without me knowing about it. I also don't want someone just going through my photos or changing my phone settings. I don't lock my phone because if I loose it, soembody can actually use it to call me using my contact information, but they can't get to my other apps that are protected. It allows for visual password, so it only takes second to have access to your app.
Cons: none that I can see. The price is very reasonable in my opinion.
Free ringtone makers will always get automatic 5s from me. I don't think anyone should have to pay for creating ringtones for their phone...ever.
Bounce the ball off of things. You're better off buying a bouncy ball, because there are more possibilities. Plus, what's the point of playing with a rubber ball without needing to chase it all over?
Not really. This app doesn't come with malware installed on it, but it will equip you with clever barbs that will make any dimwit scratch his/her head.
