Could the Taylor Swift app be any more fabulous?

by Kate Currin

While the squealing teen girls in concert T-shirts and Kanye West sideshow are sold separately, you can find just about everything else packed into the free and official Taylor Swift app for Android. I wasn't really a Swift fan until I downloaded this app, and I'll tell you, it puts Britney Spears' iPhone app to shame.

In the media section of the app, you can listen to pretty much the entire repertoire of Swift music, free. If you hear a song you can't live without, download it straight from a link in the app. There are also videos and ringtones in the media section.

Besides the plethora of tunes, the app is packed with more Swift news than one person can handle, including a Twitter feed and video blogs. Users can connect to the app with their Twitter account to leave messages on Swift's app wall. There is also a map fan wall that plots Taylor app fans around the world.

Swift is one accessible celebrity rock star with an app to prove it – maybe that's why she is so popular (besides having dated America's most lovable werewolf).

Of course, the app has the requisite photo gallery of the starlet, and comes complete with her tour schedule.
