Review for Netflix Guide HD

APPOLICIOUS ADVISOR RATING:

3 of 5 bars
  • PRICE: Free
  • TASTY: Browse pretty much all of Netflix from your tablet.
  • BUMMER: Nothing special to set it apart or make use of the benefits of a tablet.
  • COOL: Seeing your recommendations, reading their synopses and adding them to your queue within about 10 seconds.

Not all Android devices are compatible with Netflix, but at least you can use your tablet to search for movies and TV shows Netflix Guide HD.

While not bursting with features, the app can be tied to your Netflix account, providing an easy way to navigate everything that the DVD and streaming video service has to offer. You’re able to see all your recommendations from the service, including your history and your DVD and Instant queues. You can also find out what’s new and trendy and search for specific titles. Once you find what you want, adding it to your queue is as easy as hitting one button.

Netflix Guide could use something more to make use of the larger size of tablets, or additional features to make it stand out from similar apps like IMDb.

Still, for free, Netflix Guide HD is useful and competent – just don’t expect any extra frills here.
