APPOLICIOUS ADVISOR RATING:

5 of 5 bars
  • PRICE: $1.99
  • TASTY: Several different modes with their own stories.
  • BUMMER: Nothing that I can think of.
  • COOL: Leaderboards are featured for some competitive edge.

Radiant HD is a great Asteroids-like shooter from Hexage, full of color and personality that shine on Android tablet.

The controls are simple, consisting of steering left and right as you constantly fire upwards. In-between rounds, you can buy upgrades for your weapons at the shop. There is a huge variety of weapons and they all change and grow as you upgrade them, giving the game a surprising amount of depth. The game even throws in its own charming story for each mode.

The game’s name is an accurate descriptor of the graphics. Vibrant, radiant, and colorful, these retro styles visuals are a feast for the eyes, and they look absolutely fantastic on the HD screen of a tablet device.

Radiant HD is another example of an excellent game that is even better on an Android Tablet.
