APPOLICIOUS ADVISOR RATING:

4 of 5 bars
  • PRICE: Free
  • TASTY: Psychedelic graphics and sound.
  • BUMMER: The game can be a bit too simple, and lacks challenge.
  • COOL: Surprisingly interesting story about stealing the color from and escaping Shadowbox.

EVAC HD is a great game with a very retro feel and a cool visual style.

The game is like a modern Pac-Man, in which you must escape a series of mazes as a pink block with a face. The game is updated with several kinds of power ups and puzzle elements, including some sokoban-like areas. The gameplay is simple enough for anyone to enjoy, and there is even something of a story.

As with all games made by developer Hexage, the graphics are extremely colorful and vibrant; very neon and trippy. These graphics are made all the better by the HD big screen of a tablet. This is a great update to a classic game that anyone can enjoy.

EVAC HD and all Hexage games are a reasons to own an Android Tablet.
