APPOLICIOUS ADVISOR RATING:

3 of 5 bars
  • PRICE: Free
  • TASTY: Totally free game with nigh invisible advertisements.
  • BUMMER: No multiplayer, which would work great on a tablet.
  • COOL: The fantastic neon graphics.

Glow Hockey is an extremely simple yet fun game that many people will probably enjoy.

This table hockey simulator is extremely bare bones, pitting you against a digital opponent on one of four difficulties with barely any customization options. Still, the gameplay itself is pretty good, and the neon colors are quite mesmerizing. Most people would probably enjoy this game for a bit, but there just isn't enough here to keep one’s attention over a long period of time.

Playing on a tablet was actually more challenging, due to having to move your hand farther for each move. This being a free game means advertisements, and playing on a tablet shrinks them down so much you won't even notice them. There is no harm in picking this one up as long as your expectations are modest.

Glow Hockey shows the world just how much cooler neon lights look on an Android Tablet.
