Android App Video Review: Qbism HD

by Erik Fikkert

Qbism HD is an app created by the developer Blowfish Games. The app is a 3D puzzle game that challenges players to fill an empty frame with cubes. Players will need to spin the shape and zoom in and out to figure out where the cubes need to fit.

The game has quite a few options when it comes to level of difficulty but it is probably smartest to start on easy as even some of those levels will really challenge your problem solving skills. Tapping on a cube will select it and dragging will let you move it into place. Dragging your finger without a cube selected will allow you to spin the shape which is crucial to making sure your cubes are sliding where they need to go.

The graphics and music in the game are pretty high quality, though they tend to be a little small for some of the smaller touchscreens. The game can get hard at times as it can be difficult to work with a 3D object on a 2D screen.

Overall though, the game was fun and extremely challenging. If you’re looking for an app that will keep you stumped and take a while to work through, check this one out.
