Music loving Android gamers: get amped.

Tapulous' rhythm game Tap Tap Revenge 4 has finally arrived in the Android Market.

Tap Tap Revenge 4 features tracks from some of the most recognized names in music, including Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Metallica, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Pitbull, Linkin Park, Far East Movement, Selena Gomez, Green Day, Cee Lo Green, Kid Cudi, Rihanna, My Chemical Romance and Florence + The Machine.

With a player base of more than 15 million, the Tap Tap series is becoming very popular on other platforms. It is very similar to games like Guitar Hero or Dance Dance Revolution, with the object of the game to stay on beat by tapping the colored circle music notes that scroll down the screen.

The app is free, which means you'll receive ton of songs to play and unlock for no extra charge on download. However, users can buy additional premium tracks by making in-app download purchases via Android's brand new in-app billing service. (Could there be a more perfect time for Google to release such a handy feature?)

Because rhythm games tend to be more fun when they're played with others, Tap Tap Revenge 4 allows you to challenge players online. The game has branched out to the top social networking sites, Facebook and Twitter, so that players can “like” a track in the Tapulous Network and challenge others who “like” the same track.

What's really great about Tap Tap Revenge 4, is that it's a fully cross-platform game—meaning both Android and iOS players can compete against one another. And with a large and growing fan base, you shouldn't have any trouble finding another Tap Tap Revenge 4 player to duke it out with.

The game also features global leader boards and real-time chatting with other players.
