Another holiday, another seasonal update for everyone’s favorite Android game, Angry Birds. This time it’s St. Patty that’s gotten these birds’ feathers ruffled, but that’s just more opportunities for you to catch a pot of gold. Also, tower defense games continue to take over the Android Market, with several this week from bygone eras.

Ninjas, robots and angry birds

Angry Birds Seasons has been updated for St. Patrick’s Day, with bonuses sprinkled throughout the additional 15 levels of fun. Even the pigs get into the holiday spirit, donning hats and clovers of their own. This Android game is free.

Ninjas are known for their stealthiness, and that’s a key skill in the up-and-coming Ninja Dash. In this free game, you’re the stealthy one, tilting your phone from one direction to the other in order to get your character to navigate each level’s obstacles. Collect new weapons, power-up with special food and work your way up to Ninja Master.

Pandas vs Ninjas Zoom has hit the Android Market, with new levels, new features and zoom in/out support. You can get closer than ever to the game, defining your tactics as you help these pandas defend their home. The Angry Birds alternative continues to gain traction with Android gamers, making physics-based games all the more popular.

Cordy is a cute little robot that’s making his way through futuristic urban spaces. Use physics to navigate Cordy, making him run, jump, push and pull his way through complex levels.
