Nondescript Karoshi spends his days behind a desk in a nondescript high-rise, deep in the heart of downtown Tokyo. When he's not filling out never-ending TPS reports, or ogling the young female co-workers who refuse to give him the time of day, he's thinking of ways to end his miserable life.
That's where you come in. The sick, twisted developers at YoYo Games have finally brought this PC sensation to life on the Android platform, and not a moment too soon. If you like dark humor, platform gaming, solving logic puzzles, and assisting virtual avatars seeking to end it all for your amusement, you'll dig Karoshi (and the satisfying wet popping noise he and his pals make when they begin their journey to the afterlife).
With 50 increasingly tougher levels to beat, it will take every brain cell and perfectly timed move to get through to the end. Moving just the right elements at the perfect time will be essential to your success.
Best of all, Karoshi wants to take out his co-workers before he pulls the plug. So, in many levels, you'll need to find your way to special controls to squish, burn, or electrocute your former overbearing associates, and then find the nearest death trap to touch, jump into, or unleash on your own self.
Tip: In some of the higher levels, you'll want to burn your co-workers, then move quickly to get hit by the flaming debris. This will kill you after a few seconds, but not before your pal gets what was coming to him.
Of course, the game should be played with your tongue planted firmly in your cheek. Because, let's face it, Japanese (and American) salarymen are a happy, workaday bunch, right?
