Android App Video Review: Wheel of Fortune

by Erik Fikkert

As a kid, Wheel of Fortune was one of my favorite gameshows to watch and still is to this day. There’s something addicting about trying to guess words based on the clues. Well now you can play Wheel of Fortune whenever you like.

The game has been released for Android phones and plays exactly like the older gameshow. The app lets you play a quick round of the typical TV version or let’s you play some of the specialized game types and modes found in the full game.

After creating a character in your likeness, you start the game and get right into the spinning. The graphics and sounds aren’t anything amazing at all but the game plays just like you would expect it to. The computer players are forgiving and give you a fair chance to guess.

Overall, the game is just like the TV show, and that’s a good thing. You have the option for a pass-n-play multiplayer session as well which makes for some fun times. The price is listed in the medium range which might slow some of you down, but if you loved the show, you’ll love the game. Check it out.
