Android App Video Review: Frenzic

by Erik Fikkert

I haven’t found too many puzzle apps that really got me excited to play every time for Android. There are a few of the classic ones, but nothing stood out to me as trying to be different. Frenzic has changed that.

The app is a puzzle game with similar gameplay to many others, but it has its own twist. The goal of the game is to complete circles using different pieces of the pie. It’s kind of like a circular Tetris in a way. The center will generate a random color and section that you must decide to place. Filling an entire circle will get you points and getting a circle all one color will earn you powerups. The power-ups offer advanced features like double points and time extensions.

The game is really fast-paced and many times I found myself struggling to keep up. Overall, the app was a ton of fun but still eventually became just another puzzle app on my phone. If you're looking for a new adventure, this app might be the one to offer it.
