Fresh Android Games for Nov. 9: EVAC HD, Tiger SNES

by Caitlin M. Foyt

In today's batch of Fresh Android Games, head down the Mario pipe back to your youth to play portable Super Nintendo games and updated version of a Pac-Man-inspired game with a twist.

EVAC HD (Android) $1.56

The electric alternative to Pac-Man has been updated. The developer of the app, Hexage Ltd., has released HD versions of all five of its Android games.

Radiant, Everlands, Totemo, Buka and EVAC have all been redesigned with better graphics, visual effects and new features, Hexage said.

For a limited time, until November 12th, all of the HD versions will sell for a quarter of their usual price. If you've already bought EVAC or any of Hexage's other games, this might be a tempting upgrade that can't be refused.

There are people out there who still consider Super Nintendo to be the greatest video game consoles of all time. It had a ton of classic games and was still being sold 10 years after it was first released. Take a look on eBay and you'll see that this game system is still, to this day, thriving among collectors, fans and retro gamers.

Now you can bring the past and present together by playing some of your favorite games on your Android phone. Tiger SNES has virtual multiple touch buttons, key custom definition and even offers Wiimote support.
