Android App Video Review: Spaghetti Marshmallows

by Erik Fikkert

Rarely do you see a physics concept that works in the real world make a perfect transition into the app world. Android handles some awesome processing power and because of this we have had the wonderful opportunity to see some amazing physics puzzle games. But none have compared to Spaghetti Marshmallows.

This simple app takes one of the most challenging logic puzzles many students face in school and puts it into a game that is both well-designed and addicting. The challenge: Take your marshmallows and uncooked spaghetti noodles and create structures that will reach specific goals. The gameplay for this app is perhaps some of the smoothest I have ever experienced on Android and really shows how clean and intuitive an app can be. Tap to add marshmallows and drag to create spaghetti pieces. The concept is simple but the implementation can be very difficult. With plenty of challenges to work through, Spaghetti Marshmallows is definitely an app to check out, even if you only grab the free version.
