Galactic battler Sinister Planet received an update this week, with support for Android 2.1 and higher. JellyBalls is a top Android game this week, thanks to the addition of several new levels to the game’s classic mode. At $1.56, this bubble-burst arcade game has a few other game modes to enjoy for competing against yourself and the world. JellyBalls’ global leaderboard is powered by Scoreloop.
Glu Mobile is expanding its portfolio with the launch of Deer Hunter 3D. The first-person shooter puts you in forest and field settings, giving you challenges such as taking down bears, bighorn sheep and other creatures; earn new firearms and land the big game. Priced at $4.99, this Android game has great graphics and requires a bit of concentration.
Another new shooter is Zombie Duck, which is a little like a creepy version of Duck Hunt. Don’t let these zombie ducks escape from the forest by shooting them down one by one -- the forest is dark, so you never know which direction the ducks are coming from. Best of all, the game is free.
