I worked as a waitress for more years than I care to remember. So when I downloaded the free Diner Dash 2 Demo app for Android, I really didn’t expect to like it.
The demo game begins with a tutorial walk-through of how to play Diner Dash 2. Basically, tap on the customers to sit, tap again to take their order, tap on the order counter to place the order, and then tap again to pick up the order- -- delivering it to the customer by once again tapping on their table.
It’s a lot of tap, tap, tapping, yet it is strangely addictive. After the tutorial level, you must upgrade to the full version of the Diner Dash 2 app for $3.99 to continue gameplay. I went for it, since the demo version was so easily addicting, and I really wanted to help keep Darla’s Café in business.
It was all fun and games until families started arriving in Level 4 and high chairs were introduced. But the full version of the game has the same great tutorial features as the demo version, introducing you to new tasks at every level of the game. These tutorials make the game easy to play for any age and every level of technology user.
Overall, if you like simple, fun games to play on your Android phone for when you have downtime, definitely check out the Diner Dash 2 app. Start with the demo, then upgrade if you like it.
