Android App Video Review: UNO

by Erik Fikkert

Uno has finally made its glorious transition to the Android platform thanks to the developers over at Gameloft. Everything that you know and love about this classic game has been carefully crafted into this digital version with the same great gameplay and tense final-card callouts.

The game kicks off everything with some great graphics and crazy technopop music to set the happy tone. Players are given the option to play a quick match or enter a singleplayer or multiplayer game.  The game runs extremely smooth, with the animations and interface complimenting the card game never getting in the way. Tapping your hand will enable the selection of cards where you can then lay the card of your choosing. There's really not much to say about the actual game since everyone and there mom has most definitely played this game. There is a feature in the game that allows players to unlock different backgrounds in the game by completing different modes and challenges. Although this was a nice feature, there wasn't too much incentive. Overall, if you are an UNO fan, this app is a must buy for you. Check it out, you won't regret it.
