Sky Force

Sky Force is like playing your typical vertical scrolling shooter but feels like a modern version. Players pick from one of three ships, each with its own shield strength and speed settings. As you destroy waves of enemies you collect stars and power-ups become available to upgrade your weapons. Along the way you rescue humans and blow up everything in sight. The music isn't the greatest of quality but the gameplay more than makes up for this. At the end of each Stage a score is displayed showing you how well you did. Three gameplay modes appeal to players of all skill levels. The touch controls seem to be the best as the accelerometer doesn't work too well. Worth your time and money and a fun game.
