Evernote for Android

My friend Tabitha says, "It's easy to use but has tons of capabilities! The only downside is that I can't access my notes if I don't have a 3G connection. It happened while I was in the mountains in CO, and I needed a combo to a padlock on the cabin we were going to!"

AWESOME but needs ONE little tweak...

Someone please explain to me how I existed before I used this app. It's officially responsible for keeping my head screwed on now. The sync with the PC component makes it so easy for me to add or check my notes wherever I am. The ONLY thing the Android app needs to get 5 bars is the ability to make checklists. You can do them on the PC and check off tasks on the app, but you can't BUILD the checklist in the app. I'm tapping my toes in anticipation...

I am a premium user and keen EN evangelist but I think that they should concentrate on stability and simplicity instead making it huge and complex.

Recent update put this in my top 5. Now supports some offline viewing. Quick, and a plethora of methods for saving notes. Searching for nots is great and keeping things organized with tags once you get the hang of it is great.

I still think the free version is very limited. Most of the upgrades are for premium users.

Still many improvements can be made for entering notes like more editing abilities for text notes. Less memory usage, some weird messages on some phones about memory full. Needs better usage of SD card.

This app is an extension of the website and allows you to snap anything you need to remember just with your phone. The app integrates seamlessly with the website and allows you to quickly access notes that are already in the cloud.

You can also search the stored notes from within the mobile app and use the OCR-functionality of Evernote.

I use Evernote in my day to day life, being it to snap some important news articles from the paper, store receipts, receipes and so on. Must have app to organize your life!

** Update**

They just added offine support and did a compleet overhaul on the UI. Bumping it up to 5 stars, Evernote did a great job!

This is lovely on the DroidX's big screen. In a car ride today to Long Beach Island, I used Evernote to write the outline of a major work proposal, as soon as the thoughts popped in my head. You can tag your notes and add photos, files, or audio to your notes. Notes sync across web and mobile platforms.
