My Favorite Poetry Apps  by diablolita

diablolita says: I love poetry and have a ton of great books in my library, but it's nice to have some on the go as well. There are a bunch of great poetry resources available, but these are a few of my favorites.
diablolita's picks
  1. POETRY from Poetry Foundation
POETRY from Poetry Foundation When you need some poetry on the go, you can't beat this app. Look up poems based on mood or subject or shake it up for a random choice. Love that you can share via Facebook or Twitter as well.
  2. Love Poems
Love Poems Whether you're trying to win the affections of a new love or want to spice up your marriage, nothing works as well as a love poem. Thousands of options here, unfortunately it doesn't give you author information.
  3. Henry David Thoreau Quotes
Henry David Thoreau Quotes For your daily philosophical fix, it doesn't get any better than Thoreau. Quotes on everything from the outdoors to civil disobedience are available to browse, read and share.
  4. Poet's Corner
Poet's Corner This is the app for aspiring poets out there, or just folks who like to read up and coming poets' work. It's really simple to use, with only 3 screens to choose from.
  5. Shakespeare Sonnets free
Shakespeare Sonnets free Yes, now you have the power to hold all of Shakespeare's Sonnets in the palm of your hand! Would prefer if it was a grid to browse instead of a list, and also the ability to share, but i love reading this stuff on the go.
