diablolita says: I do enjoy picking up a physical book now and then, but really embrace technology. It's awesome to have a bunch of books that fit in your pocket! These are some of my favorite apps.
diablolita's picks
  1. Amazon Kindle
Amazon Kindle I use this app on my Droid X and it works great. I wouldn't use it as my every day reader, but it's nice for when you have some time to kill and it syncs easily with my stand alone kindle.
  2. NOOK – Read Books & Magazines
NOOK – Read Books & Magazines Maybe you prefer the Nook by B&N (I have nook and kindle, shhhh). What I like about the Nook app is the ability to customize it and the lovely page turn animation. Would love a book scan feature for when I'm in the actual store.
  3. Kobo
Kobo Really kick but ebook app that gets lost in the shadows of the big named devices, but stands on it's own. There are tons of books to choose from and you can transfer to other readers on other devices (except Kindle). LOVE being able to share quotes, notes and passages on Facebook.
  4. Aldiko Book Reader Premium
Aldiko Book Reader Premium Actually the leading eReader on android, you can really see why. Great interface and ability to access library ebooks along with transferring your EPUB and PDF files.
  5. Wattpad - Free Books & Stories
Wattpad - Free Books & Stories If you're looking for something free, where you can read books and stories for free, this app is awesome. There are tons of books you can't find on amazon or b&n. It's really awesome as a social app as well, being able to read and share stories.
