PresumingEd says: Do you get stuck in traffic or need something to see you through a long drive to or from work? Here are some apps I like to use when motoring.
PresumingEd's picks
  1. Waze Social GPS Maps & Traffic
Waze Social GPS Maps & Traffic Always a good start. Crowd-sourced traffic reports and even nearby gas prices in the latest update.
  2. Audiobooks from Audible
Audiobooks from Audible I find I can listen to audiobooks so much more easily when driving, yet still concentrate. Audible is perfect for that.
  3. Trapster
Trapster Watch out for those police speed traps!
  4. GasBuddy - Find Cheap Gas
GasBuddy - Find Cheap Gas Sometimes I need to drive out of town so this app is good to find the cheapest gas nearby.
  5. Scanner Radio
Scanner Radio So it's better when you have a passenger to tune into this, but it can help you listen in on police broadcasts and amateur radio.
