Back to school ALREADY? Android Apps for the procrastinating college student - NOW!  by GirlGoneGeek

GirlGoneGeek says: Did anyone else just notice that it's the middle of August? Classes at my school start in TWO days and I'm feeling completely unprepared. Time to get my stuff - including my apps - in order. What apps do you use for the school year?
GirlGoneGeek's picks
  1. Pocket
Pocket Thank goodness for this wallet-type app. It keeps everything secure, from bank info to passwords - very handy since I've completely forgotten my password for my school email and online library access. Whoops.
  2. K-9 Mail
K-9 Mail And speaking of email, I'd better add my school account back onto this handy multi-account email client.
  3. Amazon
Amazon I can log in and rent or buy some textbooks here and have them shipped to my house, but with only two days to go...
  4. Amazon Kindle
Amazon Kindle ...I could just get them as ebooks to read on my tablet with this app...
  5. NOOK: Read eBooks & Magazines
NOOK: Read eBooks & Magazines ...or this app. I like them both, and this way I can price-shop to get the best deal.
  6. Evernote - stay organized.
Evernote - stay organized. It's time to dust off my favorite app for note-taking. Using this along with the desktop component and the Google Chrome plugin, I always have access to any inspiration that comes my way. And boy, am I gonna need it.
