My Vegan List  by diablolita

diablolita says: I have been vegetarian my whole life, and vegan for over 10 years now. Here's some apps I use to help me with the vegan lifestyle.
diablolita's picks
  1. HappyCow Restaurant Guide FULL
HappyCow Restaurant Guide FULL This app costs US$1.89 (there is also a free, ad-supported version) and is the mobile version of the HappyCow directory of vegetarian, vegan, and veg-friendly restaurants, health food stores, and businesses near your location. It works all over the world (90+ countries) and is largely considered the best service of its kind. Recommend.
  2. Animal-Free
Animal-Free This app is a free reference guide for animal ingredients and vegan ingredients that are often mistook for animal ingredients. It is a great guide to have along when you are shopping so you can be sure there is no animal in your purchases. Recommend.
  3. Vegan News
Vegan News This app is better in concept than in execution - but it's still okay. It's got vegan news and information, and a share button so you can share the articles and stories with your friends and family.
  4. Vegan recipes,vegetarian meals
Vegan recipes, vegetarian meals This app osts ~US$2.83 and has hundreds of vegan recipes of all kinds, with photos. Easy to use, and the recipes are often reviewed by vegan bloggers.
  5. Veggie VeggiPlanet
Veggie VeggiPlanet This free app lets you search veggie restaurants in the area (the database added by the users) and you can share the restaurants via SMS or email, and add a dinner date to the calendar. Also lets you add restaurants to the database and save favorites.
