Top 5 Useful Milwaukee Android Apps  by diablolita

diablolita says: I visited Milwaukee during the 6 months I spend on the road last year. I enjoyed the city, I don't think I would have liked it nearly as much without these apps.
diablolita's picks
  1. Milwaukee Transit MCTS AnyStop
Milwaukee Transit MCTS AnyStop This app lets you access MCTS transit schedules on your phone. Search routes, find stops near you, and get predictions on when the next bus will arrive. Sadly it is missing a few routes, inc. route 21. Also it only has the standard schedule.
  2. Peapod
Peapod This grocery ordering app works for a few cities, but particularly well for Milwaukee. You can search for exactly what you want by serch term, UPC, or even by scanning a bar code. It has weekly specials so you can save $$ on groceries you already would be buying. It also has nutrition info for any product carried in the store. This app saved me SO MUCH time in Milwaukee. HIGHLY recommend!
  3. ZM: Brewers News
ZM: Brewers News This is for all the Brewers fans - it's an RSS aggregator featuring a broad range of news sources.
  4. 88nine Radio Milwaukee
88nine Radio Milwaukee This app plays 88nine RadioMilwaukee. It has ideas, news, opinions, etc. of local people of interest and also a great music mix.
  5. epikos church milwaukee
epikos church milwaukee This app is the official Epikos Church app. It gives access to the weekly sermons as podcats, updated events, a prayer wall, and daily scripture readings. Great UI. A good way to remind yourself that piety doesn't only happen on Sundays.
