Post Op Apps  by worldwidewonder

worldwidewonder says: I recently had surgery on my right leg and have been temporarily banished to life at home while I recover from my operation. These apps help me occupy my time until I am fully recovered and can return to the outside world. By: worldwidewonder (The G2 Guru)
worldwidewonder's picks
  1. LinkedIn Pulse
LinkedIn Pulse Pulse allows me to follow the RSS feeds that I have already subscribed to online. After linking the app to my Google Reader account, I can follow all of my feeds from my G2, without having to use a computer.
  2. RockPlayer Universal
RockPlayer Universal RockPlayer lets me play almost any video file that is saved on my SD Card. So, any of those movies that come with digital copies for your computer can be loaded on to your phone and be viewed in the comfort of a hospital bed.
  3. z - Laputa Reader
z - Laputa Reader If you've read any of my reviews, you can tell that I'm a big Harry Potter fan. When the ACCIO charm didn't work on summoning my hardcover copy of Deathly Hallows, I settled for downloading the eBook and reading it using Laputa Reader.
  4. TuneIn Radio - Radio & Music
TuneIn Radio - Radio & Music As a former Radio Personality, I will admit that I listen to the radio to hear the DJ's aircheck and not for the music. TuneIn Radio lets me select the Country, State, & City and will give me a list of stations and program schedules so I can listen in on the best and worst jocks that a city has to offer.
  5. eBuddy Messenger
eBuddy Messenger I have friends with IM accounts on Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk & Facebook. eBuddy lets me chat it up with all of them on one user friendly interface.
