Play! Curling I happen to think that Curling is one of the most simultaneously ridiculous and amazing sports out there, and this app captures both those aspects perfectly. What's great about it is how you can make your games as short as you have extra time to play, or the length of an actual curling game.

Monopoly Here & Now Let me be upfront about this game--the graphics feel like they're run on Windows ME and half the time don't even appear properly on my screen. The game is waaaaaaay too expensive for the quality it offers and especially compared to the equivalent offering on the iPhone. Still, it is literally your only option if you want to play Monopoly on your Android phone and it does get it done if you have a craving, as I do on occasion.

Pinball Simple & classic, this app has a number of different Pinball games and themes, and appropriate pinball sounds to go along with them. Not the real thing, but almost as good as.

Finger Bowling The number one reason I end up elbowing strangers on the subway is this game--I get really into it. It takes a few runs to get used to the odd way of 'throwing' the ball with sliding your finger, but once you do it's quite engaging. I especially like the challenge of the 'tilted' and 'twisted' alleys in levels 2 and 3. I wish there were more levels, however, as it only takes a few runs to learn how to bowl strikes every other frame or so.
