Try Participate Learning — Better teaching through digital resources. Android app eases the car-buying process

by Caitlin M. Foyt is the perfect tool for a person who's looking for a new ride. That's because the app makes searching for a car, and making a price comparison, a cake walk.

The app is easy to navigate. The main menu is broken down into three different tabs: "Search," "Find Dealers" and "Tools."

Just click on "Search," and specify whether you want a new, used or certified car. Then, distinguish the make, model, max price range and within how many miles you'd be willing to travel to go pick up a car.

The "Find Dealers" tab has information about the dealership or independent seller. lists the name of the seller, the address, how many miles away they're located, their phone number and a map to their location. You can also search the seller's used-vehicle inventory, and check out the website.

Aside from these general search capabilities, the app also has a bunch of additional resources. Tap on the "Tools" tab, and you can calculate monthly payments, use an affordability calculator, refer to some other shopping tools on, or share a listing with a friend.

There's not a whole lot to it, but the fact that's is so simple, I think, is the reason why it's such a great app. Shopping for a new car tends to be a headache, but this app could save you time and energy.
